Sports Performance Training

Sports Performance Training (SPT) is a workout structured to combine strength and conditioning with speed & agility.Through our partnership with SpeedKillz, student-athletes will learn the proper technique for running, jumping, changing direction, developing strength, and preventing injuries. If done properly, SPT can decrease injuries while improving performance. Main components that are targeted and that you will see improvements in are:

Stability and  Coordination
Flexibility
Change of Direction
Increase in Speed and Acceleration
Upper and Lower Body Power and Strength

It doesn't matter what sports you play, SPT is going to take your game to the next level! Each client will be tested the first day on specific drills and progression will be tracked so you will be able to see your RESULTS!


Individual Lessons-Does your child have goals and dreams for his or her sports future? We can get you there by working on sport-specific performance workouts that will help improve speed, agility, strength, conditioning, coordination, and so much more. Lesson Packages

SPT Camps-Throughout the year, Georgia Sports Center and SpeedKillz will be offering different SPT Camps. Anytime youth, middle school, or high school players are out of school, we will offer a camp. Keep checking the website for more details.

Speed Killz

Georgia Sports Center announced their partnership with Speed Killz in September, 2011.  Speed Killz becomes the official Sports Performance Training (SPT) provider for the Georgia Sports Center.  SPT is a structured training designed to combined strength and conditioning with speed and agility.  SPT is a key element in the development process for all sports.  Whether you play baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, football and/or track, SPT will elevate you to the next level.  The Speed Killz trainers offer a background of college and NFL playing experience as well as college student-athlete coaching and training experience.  “I am excited to be partnering with the Georgia Sports Center.  Being new to the community, this is a great opportunity for me to get involved.  I have been doing Sports Performance Training for over 10 years, learning the importance of this specific training when I played in the NFL. Learning proper technique for speed, agility, strength and conditioning is an important part of the growth of any athlete;” states Greg Rhodes, Speed Killz Owner.
