Scott Ward

Hitting | Infield | Catching

Scott currently manages and directs Georgia Sports Center and Georgia Select Sports. Scott moved to the Atlanta area in 2007 while working for Scout Day and former Cincinnati Red, Barry Larkin. Scott served as Executive Director and ran field operations during camps, clinics, and showcases. From 2005-2007 Scott served as Baseball Director and Executive Manager for Larkin's Champions Sports Complex, a 92,000 sqft training complex located in Orlando, FL.

Jeremy Loftice

Pitching

  • Jeremy is the owner of Composing Motion Inc. where he is a professional biomechanical pitching consultant for numerous Major League Baseball organizations.  He analyzes pitching mechanics for major and minor league pitchers, as well as prospective amateur pitchers who will be participating in the Major League Amateur Baseball Draft each year.
  • He worked as a biomechanist at the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI) in Birmingham, Alabama under the direction of Dr. James Andrews for 6 years studying pitching biomechanics and injury mechanisms.
  • His list of past clients include CC Sabathia, Cliff Lee, Zack Greinke, and Jonathan Papelbon; among others.
  • Co-authored numerous scientific publications related to the pitching motion and injury prevention.  He has also delivered numerous baseball related presentations around the world about pitching mechanics and injury mechanisms.  Having pitched for Louisiana State University, he has the unique ability to view the injury mechanisms not only as a scientist, but also as a pitcher himself.

Zach Wykoff

Pitching

  • Drafted in 2001 by San Diego Padres in the 34th round.
  • Played 2 years with the Padres Organization.
  • In 2001 was awarded Padres Best Fastball (95mph) by Baseball America.
  • Played with the Dubios County Dragons of the Frontier League in early 2001.
  • Received a full scholarship to Kennesaw State in 2000 where they we ranked as high as #1 in the country. They finished the season #14 in the nation.
  • 1998-1999 seasons we spent with Young Harris where Zach went 15-5 in two seasons.
  • 1999 Pre-season All-American by Baseball Magazine.
  • Played high school baseball at Loganville HS and graduated in 1997. He threw a no-hitter against Monroe HS in 1996.

Gary Ray

Hitting

  • 2 years as an associate scout
  • 11 years coaching background
  • Former NCAA Div 1 player
  • 4 years coaching and instructor at East Cobb Baseball
  • 2 years coaching scout team for San Jacinto College assistant coach.

Pedro Powell

Hitting | Oufield | Base Running

  • 7 seasons in professional baseball (Pirates 5, Rays 2).
  • 18th round draft pick of the Pirates in the 2003 amatuer draft.
  • '06 & '07 were Pedro's highlight years where he was said to be the fastest player in baseball. During these seasons he led the Carolina League in OF assists (14 & 16).
  • 2007 Pedro had 67 stolen bases leading the minor league. During his 7 year career he stole 268.
  • '03 played CF at Middle Georgia and earn conference honors.
  • Graduated from Hawkinsville HS (GA) in 2002.
  • All-State athlete in FB and Baseball.
  • Two time 100 meter State Champion, Two time 4x100 State Champion, & 200 meter State Champion in track.
  • Currently retired from baseball, Pedro is finishing his degree in Sports Management.
  • Pedro has passion for training, coaching, and mentoring players.

Shannan Lovelady

Hitting | Infield

Coach Shannon Lovelady brings to the Sports Center many years of experience at a player and a coach.  She was the Head Softball Coach at South Gwinnett High School for 4 years and a Varsity Assistant Softball Coach at Mill Creek High School. Lovelady was a Private Baseball Instructor for Major League Baseball International. She was one of five instructors chosen to organize the MLBI Camps for Girls. 

Lovelady played softball at Florida State University. She made the All-South Region Team, All-Atlantic Coast Conference, had three NCAA College World Series appearance while playing as well as many more accomplishments to list.

Cherrelle Pullen

Hitting | Slap

Pullen brings 13 years of softball playing experience; two of which were played at Georgia Southwestern State University and lettered four years at Clarke Central High School for the Varsity Softball team as a left fielder and shortstop. 

Coach Pollen graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University in December 2010 with a Bachelor of Science in Education-Health and Physical Education. Pullen brings with her an in-depth knowledge about softball game strategies, regulations and techniques.
